Vegan Snack Party exists to make a nourishing vegan lifestyle approachable, accessible, and affordable.

As a high school teacher in Miami, most of my students were unfamiliar with vegan food before entering my classroom. They thought I could only eat salad (lol) and often asked to see pictures of my food. I was so excited by their enthusiasm and curiosity.

Inspired by my students, I created an Instagram account, Vegan Snack Party, they could follow to learn about offerings at local grocery stores and restaurants, vegan ingredients and alternatives, recipes, restaurant reviews, and pricing. Several students, as well as their parents, reached out to thank me for providing resources and alternatives for healthy and affordable food ideas.

Prior to teaching, I worked in photography, shooting mostly editorial and fashion work. I always dreamed of photographing beautiful, vibrant food. Special thanks to my students who inspired me to pick up the camera and make this vegan snack party happen.

Finally got to try @jenisicecreams. I was so excited to finally find a vegan option, and this flavor is amazing 🍋🍦🥥 found it at Whole Foods, it was normally $7.99 but I got it on sale for $6. Hope everyone gets to try this amazing flavor 😍

Yesterday we went to @taquizatacos, always a fave! Although they did away with my favorite dish, a quinoa salad, and all impossible products which has made the vegan options much more limited. :(
